So this one time in episode 51 Ryotsu was possessed by a demon (note the pallid skin) so his coworkers called in an exorcist.
That'd be this guy.
His officers of the police box care about their Ryo-san a lot, so they help by holding him down.
Then the priest starts by . . .
Taking off his clothes.
And then tying him up.
Writing all over his body.
Taping his mouth shut.
Ryo-san struggles and squirms, but he's roped up tighter than a blue-ribbon bull!
Now it's time for the exorcism.
Which involves . . . hot candle wax?
Oh, and whipping.
Well . . .
Never say that these guys don't know how to have a good time.
I'm starting to wonder if these antics are intentionally sexual or if it's just a cultural oddity. :)
